Part 1 of the series 'The Dropouts' focuses on Christians who have left Sunday morning 'church' services and the whole religious system of doing 'church' in order to return to the simplicity of Christ. This series is the first documentary to explore the phenomenon surrounding the exodus of millions of Christians from religious institutions. It gets close-up and candid interviews with former pastors and congregation members, who explain why they feel that today's institutional expression of church has departed dramatically from the way Christ intended His Body to function.

In this video you can also meet some of the people who have dropped out of doing church. Who are they and why have they chosen to do so? Are they Lone Rangers? Rebels? Non-conformists? Flakes? Wounded believers who need to be won back? How has their decision to drop out affected their spiritual health? Are they still walking with the Lord or are they backsliders?
